The Senior Director (SLA2) Learning and Teaching works closely with other section managers across Education Strategy and oversees the implementation of a range of key initiatives including the strategic design and development of the Learning and Teaching policy and Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) deliverable within the Strong Foundations program.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:

Mandatory

• A minimum of four years full time (or equivalent) tertiary study leading to the award of a recognised school teaching qualification.
• Current professional teaching registration with the ACT Teacher Quality Institute (or eligibility to obtain).
• A current registration issued by Access Canberra under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011.
• Significant teaching experience and expertise P-12.

Note: This is a permanent position subject to the 5-year mobility provision, commencing Monday 21 July (term 3) 2025.

Office based conditions apply to this position. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
