Details: Melba Copland Secondary School are seeking an experienced individual to join a busy Student Services team at Melba Copland Secondary School. The successful applicant will work full time in our Student Services team to support its smooth day to day operations. This position will support the executive team with the ongoing data needs of the school; for example Timetabler, SAS management and the Australian Certification System. The successful applicant will also manage the 7- 12 school enrolments. This role will be both customer facing and office based work. The Student Services, Data and Enrolments Coordinator is an active member of the Student Services Team and will assist with the operations of the school business and is accountable to the ACT Education Directorate. The Student Services, Data and Enrolments Coordinator will work under general direction in relation to established priorities, task methodology and work practices to provide support to the Executive Team with the day-to-day administration of the school in line with school requirements and Directorate priorities.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:

  • Demonstrated high level of administrative skills including the ability to operate a variety of computer programs, databases and other records management systems.
  • Willingness to learn or demonstrated skills in a range of data systems.
  • Prior to commencing this role, a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 is required. For further information on Working with Vulnerable People registration refer to - Apply for or renew a WWVP registration - Access Canberra
