The Staffing Officer component of this position will involve coordinating staffing related matters, including organising casual relief staff and contracts. The role will also require knowledge of, or the ability to quickly learn, staffing related software such as Kronos, HR21, School Staff Expenditure Monitoring System (SSEMS) and Google Drive.

The Executive Assistant component of this position will entail providing executive support to the Principal and executive staff including diary/calendar management; coordinate and oversee the workflow of the Principal’s office.

The successful candidate will work as part of a larger team and will need to work across other administrative roles as required. These roles include assisting with events, excursions, student services and front office administration.

After hours and weekend work is required in this position, including early mornings and evening work, with some duties performed from home. Flexible hours could be negotiated with the successful candidate.

MANDATORY

Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP)

Prior to commencing this role, a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 is required. For further information on Working with Vulnerable People registration refer to - Working with vulnerable people (WWVP) registration (act.gov.au)

HIGHLY DESIRABLE

First Aid Certificate or a willingness to undertake appropriate training

DESIRABLE

Knowledge of school specific software including Sentral and Kronos.

Experience in school administration, preferably in a primary school setting

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
