Details: We are seeking an innovative, motivated and high performing individual to join the Early Childhood Education branch as a Program Officer. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is keenly interested in supporting children and families to access quality early childhood education. To be successful in this role you must be effective in working in a fast paced and collaborative environment.

Eligibility/Other Requirements: Prior to commencing this role, a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 is required. Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately until 31 December 2025 with the possibility of extension up to 12 months and/or permanency.

Selection may be based on written application and referee reports only.

This position is designed for flexible work arrangements and activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers may not have a designated workstation/desk and work across multiple Education sites. Our branch is currently working in a mixed-mode of at home and at the ACT Whole-Of-Government building at 220 London Circuit. The successful candidate will be expected to work flexibly across sites.
