Details: The position, Director, NAPLAN (SOG B) within the Planning Evidence and Analytics Branch is available as a short-term vacancy from 26 August to 9 October 2026.
Expressions of interest are sought from staff with with the necessary skills and experience to undertake the role during this period.
During this period, the role will involve:
- Oversight of the 2026 Platform Readiness Testing program.
- Corporate and school-based testing
- Reporting of progress and outcomes through relevant working groups
- Ensuring required tasks are completed according to the Program Management Office timelines
- Managing the local Helpdesk
- Representing the Directorate on local and National working groups.
- Managing the operation and resources of the team
- Attending PEA Leadership Team meetings
- Drafting briefs for ACARA Board, SPG, AESOC, EMM working groups as required.
- Responding to data requests as required.

Eligibility/ Other Requirements:
- Knowledge of and skills relating to data management and statistical software will be considered favorably.
