Details: Fancy a chance to highlight positive stories across public education? Then don’t miss this opportunity to apply for a role as a Media and Content Officer at the ACT Education Directorate.
Working across different schools and diverse subjects, you’ll help shape how we communicate about public education staff, students and initiatives to the Canberra community. This is a great role for a communications all-rounder with experience in external communications and social media.

Eligibility/Other requirements: A tertiary qualification in communication is desirable but not required.
Notes: This is a temporary position available from 20 July 2026 to 11 June 2027, with the possibility of permanency. A Merit list will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. We have access to ongoing hybrid work arrangements including a combination of work from home and working from the office.
