Details: We’re on the lookout for a bold and passionate educator to step into the role of Executive Teacher of Pedagogy. Someone who’s ready to co-create our teaching and learning improvement plan. As a member of the executive team, you'll collaborate to grow teacher expertise through professional learning communities. Your leadership in Universal Design for Learning and Strong Foundations will drive whole-school priorities that boost academic growth and nurture student wellbeing.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to co-design and implement a pedagogical framework grounded in evidence-informed teaching strategies, aligned with the Strong Foundations initiative.
- Support the Senior Leadership team to design a MTSS framework that supports consistent, high-quality literacy and numeracy instruction across classrooms and year levels.
- Work as part of the school leadership team to lead teaching and learning across the school, with a focus on Professional Learning Teams (PLTs) as a vehicle for collaborative planning, data-informed practice, and continuous improvement.
- Help shape the positive image of the school in the broader community by ensuring that school values are authentically embedded in daily practice, decision-making, and community engagement.
- Actively contribute as a member of the leadership team to support the implementation of whole-school priorities.
Eligibility/Other requirements:
- A minimum of four years full time (or equivalent) tertiary study leading to the award of a recognised school teaching qualification.
- Current professional teaching registration with the ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) or eligibility to obtain TQI.
- Prior to commencing this role, a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 is required. For further information on Working with Vulnerable People registration refer to - Working with vulnerable people (WWVP) registration (act.gov.au)

A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
