Details: Biosecurity and Rural Services are seeking a Rural Services Officer who can assist in the development and delivery of extension programs for the ACT rural community, government staff and external agencies and the management of biosecurity threats including vertebrate pests, invasive plants and livestock diseases.
This person will be part of a small team who conduct inspections on land managed by ACT Government, including fences, water supply, roads and pasture. The role includes planning and overseeing contract works associated with weed control, fencing and water infrastructure upgrades.
