The Research, Programs and Scientific Services Branch is seeking a Director to fill a permanent position in the Health Promotion section. The Research, Programs, and Scientific Services Branch is a multidisciplinary team which leads scientific analysis, research strategy, and health promotion initiatives. The Health Promotion section aims to make health and wellbeing more achievable for everyone in the ACT by supporting evidence based and sustainable systems to facilitate positive behaviour change in environments where people live, work, learn and play.
The successful applicant will demonstrate adaptability, embracing change as an opportunity to advance health promotion and preventive health priorities. You will lead the development and management of strategic partnerships, collaborating across the Division, Directorate, government, and community sectors to plan, implement, and evaluate health promotion programs.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in a field relevant to health promotion or public health is desirable.
- Prior to commencement, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a pre-employment National Police Check.
