Details: The Health and Community Services Directorate (HCSD) is looking for a staff member interested in testing and developing their skills within a community facing, fast paced, and diverse operating environment. HCSD currently has a fulltime permanent vacancy for a Senior Advisor in the Safety and Wellbeing team.

The role presents a fantastic opportunity for those looking to pursue a career in Human Resources (HR) and to gain experience and understanding in a public sector environment. While relevant HR experience is looked upon favourably, applicants with transferable skills and relevant qualifications are encouraged to apply.

Reporting to the Assistant Director, Safety and Wellbeing, the Senior Advisor will support management of early intervention, compensable and non-compensable case management, psychosocial hazards, psychological safety, legislation, policies and best practice.

The Senior Advisor is required to support the team with continuous improvement of CSDs early intervention and wellbeing frameworks, including identification of trends based on collection, analysis and reporting of hazard and risk data and providing general advice on safety and wellbeing matters.

Please note, this position works from a workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk.
