Details: Are you a strategic procurement leader who thrives on delivering complex, high-impact outcomes?
The Health and Community Services Directorate is seeking an experienced and energetic leader to help establish and shape our new Procurement and Sector Funding Branch. This is a unique opportunity to influence procurement, grants and funding practices across one of the ACT Government's most diverse and community-focused directorates.
As Director, you will lead a team delivering complex procurement and funding activities, provide expert advice to senior executives, strengthen governance and probity practices, and build strong partnerships across government, industry and the community sector.
We are looking for someone who brings:
- Demonstrated experience leading complex procurement and/or funding activities.
- Strong strategic thinking, judgement and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management capabilities.
- A track record of leading teams and delivering results in a dynamic environment.
- An understanding of government procurement, grants or regulatory frameworks, or the ability to quickly acquire this knowledge.

Note: This is a temporary position available immediately for three months with the possibility of extension up to six months. This position is available to ACT Government officers and employees only.
A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
