Details: The ACT Legislative Assembly is seeking an exceptional parliamentary professional to serve as Clerk of the Legislative Assembly.
As the Assembly's principal adviser on parliamentary law, practice and procedure, the Clerk leads the Office of the Legislative Assembly, an independent statutory agency supporting the work of the Assembly, its committees and Members.
This is a rare executive leadership opportunity requiring extensive parliamentary experience, demonstrated leadership capability, exceptional judgement and integrity, and a commitment to supporting the effective operation of parliamentary democracy.
Relevant parliamentary experience is essential.
Remuneration: The position attracts a remuneration package ranging from $355,047 - $366,015 depending on current superannuation arrangements of the successful applicant. This includes a cash component of $313,375.
