Details: Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for driving organisational performance and innovation?
Infrastructure Canberra (iCBR) is seeking a dynamic Director, Strategy and Planning to lead strategic planning, performance reporting, and organisational uplift initiatives. This role operates with a high degree of autonomy and is instrumental in embedding a culture of innovation, inclusion, and continuous improvement across iCBR.
You will oversee performance reporting aligned to the iCBR Strategic Plan, lead annual business planning, and support change initiatives that enhance capability and foster inclusive practices. You’ll also mentor a small team and provide high-level advice to senior executives.
We’re looking for someone with proven experience in strategic planning, performance reporting in government, and business improvement. Strong analytical and communication skills, cultural competence, and leadership capability are essential.

Eligibility/Other requirements: Qualifications in communications, change management, human resources, or related profession and / or equivalent professional experience are highly desirable.
Notes: This is a temporary position available 04 December 2025 until 04 June 2026 with the possibility of extension up to 12 months and/or permanency.
A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.
This position will be moving to a new workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk.
