Culture and Industry within Infrastructure Canberra (iCBR) are seeking applications from suitably qualified applicants for the role of Executive Branch Manager, Industry Engagement for a long-term contract.

The Executive Branch Manager, Industry Engagement is responsible for developing and implementing an industry engagement strategy and approach that will build trust and closer collaboration with the Territory and industry partners. Industry partners will include, but are not limited to, construction companies, consultants, unions and industry bodies. This includes leading effective internal and external strategic stakeholder engagement services and programs, building industry and market insights to identify opportunities and challenges and develop strategies and initiatives aligned to iCBR’s strategic priorities.

This role will be the iCBR’s lead industry interface and ensure stakeholders receive consistent, accurate, relevant, and timely advice and information. The position works collaboratively across partner directorates and iCBR to ensure industry-related initiatives, messaging and activities are aligned to strategic priorities.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:

  • Proven experience in senior leadership of strategic or operational functions with industry partners, including stakeholder management, business development, or industry engagement roles.
  • Demonstrated high level experience in undertaking strategic communication, consultation, and issues management with measurable outcomes.
  • Previous executive level experience working in the infrastructure industry and strategic senior executive roles across the public and private sectors would be highly regarded.

Remuneration: The position attracts a remuneration package ranging from $281,899 - $293,175 depending on current superannuation arrangements of the successful applicant. This includes a cash component of $250,582.

Contract: The successful applicant will be engaged under a performance-based long-term contract for a period of up to five years. Prospective applicants should be aware that long-term engagements are tabled in the ACT Legislative Assembly.
