Details: Infrastructure Canberra (iCBR) is seeking applications for the position of Executive Group Manager, People, Engagement and Operations from 03 August 2026 for up to 12 months, with the possibility of extension.

The Executive Group Manager (EGM), People, Engagement and Operations is a key member of iCBR’s executive leadership team, reporting directly to the Director-General. The role is responsible for setting and driving organisational strategy, culture and enabling services to support the delivery of iCBR’s strategic priorities.

The EGM leads people, engagement, governance, safety and corporate functions across iCBR. This includes communications, stakeholder and community engagement, industry and industrial relations engagement, learning and development, human resources, ICT, records management, ministerial and Cabinet coordination, and work health and safety. The role ensures these functions are integrated, future-focused and aligned to organisational priorities.

Success in this role is demonstrated through fostering a strong, values-based and safety-led culture; delivering clear and effective organisational planning and reporting; providing trusted strategic advice to senior leaders; and building strong relationships with government, industry, unions and the community. The EGM leads multidisciplinary teams, drives continuous improvement and organisational uplift, and operates with high integrity, probity and accountability.

Commencing 1 July 2026 all ACTPS Senior Executive Service members are required to exercise the functions of their position in accordance with the closing the gap principle ACT Closing the Gap Implementation Plan - ACT Government Transparency Portal

Remuneration: The position attracts a remuneration package ranging from $388,138 - $400,135 depending on current superannuation arrangements of the successful applicant. This includes a cash component of $342,789.

Contract: The successful applicant will be placed on a short-term contract available from 03 August 2026 for up to 12 months with possibility of extension up to two years.
