Details: ACT Corrective Services (ACTCS) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced person to fill the position of Assistant Director, Workforce Planning and Support (SOGC), within Corporate Services.
The Assistant Director, Workforce Planning and Support is responsible for leading the operational delivery and continuous improvement of workforce planning, workforce analytics, workforce reporting and workforce support functions within ACT Corrective Services (ACTCS).
The successful applicant will work collaboratively across ACTCS to support evidence-based workforce decision-making, workforce sustainability, compliance and operational readiness.
In addition, you will contribute broadly to delivery and oversight of efficient and timely processing of pay, overtime, allowances and leave related action for ACTCS employees through the ACT Government HRIMS and UKG systems or other systems as required.
Further to this, the successful applicant is responsible for leading and developing staff and translating strategic workforce priorities into practical programs, projects and business improvements that support ACTCS objectives.
To be successful, you will demonstrate strong leadership and management qualities, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to develop and build productive relationships, negotiate outcomes and influence decision-making in a complex environment.
Eligibility/Other Requirements:
- Experience using workforce management, rostering and reporting systems including UKG/Kronos is highly desirable.
- The successful candidate may be required to undergo a National Police Check.
- To be eligible for permanent or temporary employment within the ACT Public Service (ACTPS) you must be an Australian citizen, a permanent resident or hold a valid work visa.
- If an officer no longer holds a visa that permits them to work in Australia, their employment with the ACT Public Service (ACTPS) will be terminated.
