Details: The ACT Law Courts and Tribunal is seeking motivated and customer-focused individuals to join the Supreme Court and Magistrates Court Civil Registry.
There are two positions are available, one permanent position available immediately and one temporary position for up to 12 months.
Working in a busy court environment, successful applicants will provide high-quality registry and counter services to legal practitioners, government agencies and members of the public. These two roles operate on a rotational basis across civil registry functions and front counter responsibilities, offering a diverse and rewarding work environment.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:
As a Counter Officer / Senior Registry Officer, you will:
- Provide administrative and registry support within the Supreme Court and Magistrates Court Civil Registry.
- Deliver professional counter services and procedural information to court users and stakeholders.
- Work closely with colleagues and Team Leaders to support daily registry operations and service delivery.
- Process court documentation and undertake computer based tasks with accuracy and efficient.
- Participate in the civil registry rotation program to support service delivery while developing broader knowledge and skills across court operations.
- Apply relevant legislation, policies and procedures in the performance of duties.
- Receive, invoice and reconcile court fees and trust monies.
Note: There are two positions are available, one permanent position available immediately and one temporary position available for up to 12 months.
Selection may be based on written applications and referee reports only. Interview may not be conducted.
An order of merit will be established from this process and will be used to backfill both vacancies within Supreme Court and Magistrates Court Civil Registry Services Unit.
