Details: Expressions of Interest (EOI) are sought for the Library Assistant position at ACT Courts and Tribunal.
The Russell Fox Library (the Library) provides legal information resources and research services to support the operations of the ACT Courts and Tribunal, including the ACT Supreme Courts, ACT Magistrates Court, ACT Civil and Administrative Tribunal. The Library provides information services to the Library’s clients through print and online collections using Library catalogue, online subscriptions, intranet sites and external websites and other relevant tools.
The Library is comprised of a small team of supportive, highly motivated individuals who work collaboratively and independently to continuously improve and deliver high quality services and innovative solutions in a dynamic environment.
The Library Assistant must be customer focused, have a strong attention to detail and committed to high quality work/outcomes. The Library Assistant is responsible for maintaining and administrating Library collections and providing relevant services to clients by using advanced library technology such as databases and portals. The Library Assistant maintains collection records within the library management system in ensuring that all records are up-to-date to provide clients reliable details to help them with research and their tasks.

A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.
