Details: The Office of the Legislative Assembly is seeking a motivated and experienced ICT Project Coordinator to assist in modernising parliamentary services, driving effectiveness and efficiency changes and to improve the digital service experience for Members and staff at the ACT Legislative Assembly.
Reporting to the Deputy Clerk, some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing project management leadership, regular communication, status updates and reporting to the project team and stakeholders as the primary point of contact.
- Coordinating a team to successfully deliver ICT projects within specified time frames and budget.
- Implementing appropriate Project Management processes, controls, governance, and methodology to successfully deliver targeted business and project outcomes.
- Working closely with external providers to ensure delivery of agreed contract and prompt delivery of agreed variations.
- Identifying and reporting on issues with project structure, cost, risk, impact on current business activities and the strategic benefits to be realised, and escalating issues as required.
- Managing change to project scope, requirements, or priorities to ensure the proper documentation, communication and implementation of changes.
- Managing interdependencies between technology, business needs and operations.
- Facilitating the effective transition of approved innovation ideas to active projects.
Highly developed project management, time management and communication skills are essential. Demonstrated experience in delivering complex enterprise-level information management system projects is desirable.
Eligibility/Other Requirements: Eligibility to be able to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting Level 1 security clearance is preferred.
