Details: Transport Canberra has expected vacancies for positions at the North, South and Central Region Depots.
The maintenance planner is a critical role in supporting the operations of Transport Canberra’s bus fleet and oversees daily maintenance tasks on vehicles and equipment. The prime responsibilities of the role include allocating, supervising, and monitoring maintenance tasks to staff to meet Transport Canberra’s peak requirements and provide supervision for workshop staff. The maintenance planner is required to liaise with both internal and external customers and service providers to ensure consistent service delivery and work under time pressures.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:
- Visa holders are eligible to apply for both permanent and temporary roles. Those with eligible visas may be considered for permanent employment, while individuals with temporary residency or limited-duration visas may be offered permanent employment for the duration of their visas.

- Drivers Licence (C-class) is mandatory, with the ability to obtain a HR class.
- Relevant recognised trade qualifications and or certificates are mandatory.
Notes: It is a requirement of this position to work rostered rotating shifts, which includes regular overtime. A merit pool will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill identical future vacancies over the next 12 months.
