Our Strategic Finance and Assurance Group is seeking an experienced and strategic leader to manage the delivery of audit, risk and integrity functions within Digital Canberra. This role is pivotal in ensuring robust governance, effective risk management, and a strong culture of integrity. You will lead a team of professionals responsible for internal audits, risk assessments, and compliance monitoring, providing expert advice and driving continuous improvement across Digital Canberra.

As the team leader, you will oversee the development and implementation of risk management frameworks, internal audit programs, and integrity strategies. You will ensure compliance with legislative and policy requirements and provide high-level advice to senior executives and stakeholders. Your role will include mentoring and developing team members, fostering collaboration, and promoting best practice is in governance and accountability. You will prepare strategic reports and recommendations that inform decision-making and strengthen organisational resilience.

To thrive in this role, you will be an experienced leader with experience in audit, risk management and integrity functions, ideally within a government or public sector environment. You will bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills, outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement abilities, and a proven track record of leading teams and delivering results in complex environments.
